MARKETING STRATEGIC PLANNING FOR AN ENTREPRENEUR

Abstract:
This article proposes a domain statement for entrepreneur strategic marketing as a field of study and delineates certain issues fundamental to the field. It also proposes a definition for marketing strategy, the focal organizational strategy construct of the field, and enumerates a number of foundational premises of marketing strategy. The domain of strategic marketing is viewed as encompassing the study of organizational, inter-organizational and environmental phenomena concerned with the behaviour of organizations in the marketplace in their interactions with consumers, customers, competitors and other external constituencies, in the context of creation, communication and delivery of products that offer value to customers in exchanges with organizations, and the general management responsibilities associated with the boundary spanning role of the marketing function in organizations. At the broadest level, marketing strategy can be defined as an organization’s integrated pattern of decisions that specify its crucial choices concerning products, markets, marketing activities and marketing resources in the creation, communication and/or delivery of products that offer value to customers in exchanges with the organization and thereby enables the organization to achieve specific objectives. Chief among the issues that are fundamental to entrepreneur strategic marketing as a field of study are the questions of how the marketing strategy of a business is influenced by demand side factors and supply side factors..

DIRECT SELLING: BRAND PERCEPTION TOWARDS AMWAY INDIA

Abstract:
With economic development and growing consumerism, the retail sector in India underwent significant changes. In order to various store and non-store retail formats have evolved to cater to this growing market. Among various retail formats direct selling is one of the non-store retail format. Presently, twenty leading Indian and international organizations engaged in the business of Direct Selling in the country including Amway India. Amway is in the business of direct selling which means that the company sells through individuals who make personal recommendations regarding the use of distinctive high quality products and earn commissions on sales volume. The present study aims to analyze the customers’ purchasing experience, factors that motivation of buying behavior and repurchasing behavior towards Amway brand. This study conducted a sample survey with 360 customers in various places of Tamil Nadu. The result of the study reveals that there exists significant association between various demographic factors and purchasing experience towards Amway brand. In addition, this study finds that the five major factors that influence buying of Amway products. Product feature, convenience, reference group, brand image had positively affect customers’ repurchase behavior in Amway brand.

CERTAINTY OF ORGANIC FARMING IN THE NEARBY PLACES OF CHENNAI

Abstract:
Organic farming is an alternative agricultural system which originated early in the 20th century in reaction to the rapidly changing farming practices. Organic Agricultural methods are international regulated and legally enforced by many nations based in large part on the standards set by the International Federation of Organic Agriculture Movements (IFOAM). The modern definition of organic farming is that “Organic agriculture is a production system that sustains the health of soils, ecosystems and people”. In 1929, the founder and pioneer of the organic movement Albert Howard and his wife Gabrielle Howard, accomplished Botanists, founded an institute of Plant Industry to improve traditional farming methods in India. India holds a unique position among 172 countries practicing organic agriculture: It has about 6,50,000 organic producers, 699 processors,669 exporters, and 7,20,000 hectares under cultivation. An entrepreneur is an innovator or a creator who introduces something new to a firm or economy. It can be a new method of production, a new source of material or any other similar innovation. The performance of an entrepreneur is based totally on their ability and willingness to perform.
